Samrah Kazmi

Samrah Kazmi is the founder and CEO of Women In Sustainable Innovation (WiSI). She is a former Wall Street and Technology executive recognized for her expertise and contributions in traditional Financial Services and in Fintech. She is an award-winning Risk Manager, a Global Regtech Influencer and, the recipient of the NYC Inspiring Fintech Female award. In the past she ran PSE&G’s Renewable Energy Loan program. She is also the co-founder of Maiden Century, Inc., an Alt Data startup and the Chief Innovation Strategist at RESRG, a Corporate Innovation advisory firm. As a keynote speaker, she speaks on the future of Financial Services, Innovation, Sustainability and Female Leadership and has been quoted in multiple global publications.

Sofia Gamboa

Sofia Gamboa is the Head of Partnerships at Women In Sustainable Innovation. Over the last decade, she has been involved in several international initiatives in financial inclusion, entrepreneurship, sustainability and innovation in Latin America, focused primarily on women. She has served in various management and finance positions in the public and private sector, including high ranking roles at the federal government in Mexico. As a speaker, she has shared her insights and expertise at several conferences and written articles in a number of Mexican publications.


Leanne Cheng

Leanne Cheng is a growth consultant and program manager at Women in Sustainable Innovation. Leanne is a Applied Analytics Master’s graduate from Columbia University with previous experience in business development and Advisory consulting. She has been developing go-to-market strategy for large professional service firms as well as several startups. She has a passion for growth and sustainability promoting food sustainability through her blog and women empowerment through her membership with Vital Voices.
